How do I sign up for the loyalty program?

Simply create an account and enter your name, email, and password. It’s free to join and you'll automatically start receiving emails with insider access to sales, promotions, and all of our newest drops. If you already have an account with us—you’ve been automatically enrolled so just sign in and start earning points.

What benefits are included in the loyalty program?

Loyalty Program members receive points for purchases, which can then be redeemed toward future purchases. Members also earn points for birthdays, referring friends, and following us on social media. There's also the chance to get exclusive access to deals, launches, promotions, giveaways, and more. The benefits also include access to exclusive sales, curated services, and early access to new launches and more.

Plus, each tier of our rewards program offers different benefits. The more you spend, you'll get upgraded to the next tier and get access to even more perks. You can view the full list of perks for each tier on our rewards page.

I already have an account. Do I need to create a new one to earn points?

We took care of that for you. All customers with an active account have been automatically enrolled in our Loyalty Program. If you have more than one email account with us, please note that only one rewards account was created per person. Where can I find my loyalty account information?

You can access all your information by logging into your account and clicking into the loyalty tab. That will show points, order history, point redemption history, and all other loyalty-related information.

Will I receive points for purchases I made prior to creating my loyalty account?

You'll only receive points for purchases made after creating your account. Make sure to create an account before placing an order so you can start earning points.

Does it cost anything to join the loyalty program?

It's completely free to sign up and become a member—and it will never cost you anything. Make sure to visit the {enter link to your rewards page} to get started.

How do purchases convert to points?

Each tier has a different point conversion rate. The higher tier you achieve, you'll earn more points at a quicker rate.

When you're ready to redeem your points, 20 points = $1 no matter your tier. For Example, as a Tier 1 member, you'll earn 1 point for every dollar you spend. So, if you spend $200, you'll earn 200 points, which equals $10 dollars toward your next purchase.

Tier 2 members earn points 1.25 points per $1, and Tier 3 members earn 1.5 points per $1.

Can I earn points without making a purchase?

Yes, you can earn points in many ways. Get birthday points, on us, plus earn points by following us on social media, referring a friend, and by joining our mailing list.

How do I redeem my points?

First, ensure that you're signed in to your account. Then when you're ready to check out, continue to checkout. To use your rewards, click the rewards drop down menu on the righthand side of the page to select the number of points you'd like to redeem on the order you are placing, select 'Apply', then continue with the checkout process.

You must have a minimum balance of 200 points to make a redemption, and points must be redeemed in increments of 200.

Is there a limit to how many points I can earn?

There's no limit to the amount of points you can earn. You'll always have an opportunity to earn more points by shopping with us, engaging with our brand and community online, and more.

Can I return an order I used points on for a discount?

Yes. If you're returning the entire order, we'll refund you the total dollar amount spent after the discount was applied. The points you used to redeem the discount will also be added back to your rewards account.

What will happen to my points if I decide to return my order?

If you used your points towards a purchase and want to return that item, your points will be credited back to your rewards account. For example, if you use a $10 coupon towards a $100 purchase, the $90 balance will be refunded to your credit card and the $10 point credit will be deposited back into your rewards account.

How is my VIP Tier determined?

Your VIP tier is determined by the amount you spend in a 12-month period (Ex. June 12, 2025 – June 11, 2026). To reach:

Tier 1: You must sign up for the Loyalty Program.

Tier 2: You must spend $850.

Tier 3: You must spend $1,500.

Once you qualify, you'll instantly move up and have access to that tier's perks for a 12-month period from when you joined that tier. As you move up in the VIP tiers, you'll retain all benefits from your previous tier (and then some).

How do I know which tier I am currently a member of?

You can see your tier by logging into your loyalty account. There will be a loyalty status bar at the top of the page where you can see your current tier and perks. You'll also see how close you are to reaching the next tier.

What is 'early sale access'?

As a loyalty program member, you'll receive select sale emails ahead of the general public so you get first access to shop all the best sale styles.

How will I know when I have reached a new tier?

When your total spend crosses a tier threshold you'll receive an email welcoming you to the new tier. Depending on which tier you reached, you'll receive additional bonus points.

Tier 2: You must spend $850.

Tier 3: You must spend $1,500.

How can I receive a birthday reward?

On your rewards page, you'll see a "ways to earn points" section. Simply add your birthday so we can send you a special discount code via email valid for 30 days.

Your birthday code is non-transferable and may not be sold or assigned to anyone else. If we feel someone is trying to manipulate the program, we reserve the right to terminate your account at our discretion.

Why didn't I earn points on my purchase?

Double-check you were signed into your account and didn’t accidentally check out as a guest. You must be logged in when making purchases to earn points. If you did this in error, contact us at hello@dl1961.com, and we'd be happy to help apply your points to your account. You also won’t receive points if you return your purchase or your purchase is canceled for any reason. Please note that any points you earn on a purchase you later return will be deducted from your point balance.

I should have earned points for a purchase/incentive but I didn't see my account balance change. Did I earn points?

Yes, you earned points! You work hard to earn points and we want to make sure you receive them all in your account. Sometimes there may be a delay in our systems communication and points can take anywhere from minutes to several hours to appear in your account. However, if you feel like you've earned points but they're not showing up in your account you can also troubleshoot it with these tricks:

  • Try to refresh your browser.
  • Try to log out and then back in to your account.
  • Check your ‘Rewards History’ in your loyalty account to see if the points were added without you realizing it. Your ‘Rewards History’ will show you the number of points earned, how and when they were earned, as well as any redemptions of points made on your account.

If you still feel like your points balance is not accurate, our team is here to help look into the issue for you.

I've referred several friends but have not received any points for it. Is there something else I need to do?

We really appreciate you sharing us with your friends.

Referred friends must be first-time customers in order for both of you to receive the referral rewards. In addition, the referral must be initiated through our rewards referral box on your personal rewards page or through the use of your unique referral link also found there.

Points will be added to your account as soon as your friend completes their first purchase on our website.

When this happens you'll receive an email notifying you that one of your referrals made a purchase using your code and that a reward was added to your account. You can also check your ‘Rewards History’ to see a list of any points that you've received for referrals. Still not seeing the points? How do I redeem my points at checkout?

First, ensure that you're signed in to your account. Then when you're ready to check out, you'll see your total available rewards points on the top left of the page. To use your rewards, slide the points redemption bar to select the number of points you'd like to redeem on the order you are placing, select 'Apply', then continue with the checkout process. To redeem all available rewards, slide the bar all the way to the right.

You must have a minimum balance of 200 points to make a redemption, and points must be redeemed in increments of 200.

Your points may be redeemed up to 200 below the total value of the cart unless the total of your cart hits the 50 points/$5 threshold exactly.

How do I know my points value?

Simply visit {enter link to rewards page} to see how many points you have and how much they're worth toward your next purchase.

When you're ready to redeem your points, click 'Redeem' on the loyalty program page. You'll then see the redemption value. Remember, you can only redeem points in 200-point increments.

Do points ever expire?

Rewards points are valid for the remainder of the calendar year in which they are earned, plus the following calendar year.

For example: points earned any time in 2025 are valid for the remainder of 2024, plus all of 2025. Points will start over at 0 on January 1, 2027.

Rewards points will expire after 12 months of loyalty account inactivity. This means that if there is no change to your loyalty account balance (through either the addition or redemption of points), all points earned in the previous 12 months will automatically be removed from your account.

Does my tier status ever expire?

Tier 1 status never expires. Once you reach Tier 2 or Tier 3, you'll have to keep interacting with our program to maintain your status, otherwise that status will only last for one year from the date you earned it.
